lol just what i need... whats your employment law like? ok this woman was offered a redundancy cheque as the business wasnt doing to well, she accepted it...cashed it etc.. then a few months later she is trying to sue the company for unfair dismissal...

i haven't actually covered employment law as it isn't a core subject and seems boring so i never chose it for third year
however if i apply abit of common sense from what ive been taught, then it seems the employer must have set out redundancy policies clearly to the employee when she first got the job. if this isn't the case then she might have some substance to her case if she can prove that the policy regarding the redundancy clause was not set out clearly
dont go on what im saying, as i said i have not studied the area, but thats just an idea
